This subscription is not licenced for fee earning work. The subscription will only be registered to a personal or academic e-mail address. Proof of educational status will be required.
The subscription includes all updates and upgrades issued through the year. Two activations are provided, allowing you to use at home and whilst on the move. The subscription can also be used to activate the desktop versions of Sketchup Pro 2022 and Sketchup Pro 2023.

Scan
Essentials lets you import, view, and model directly on point cloud
data in SketchUp—accurately capturing the “as-built” condition of your
project. Quickly turn rich point cloud data into accurate 3D models with
ease through a variety of file formats (E57, RWP, LAZ, TZF, LAS, PLY).
You no longer have to waste time painstakingly modeling contextual
details—simply import your point cloud, and model directly on it using
SketchUp’s native toolbox.

System Requirements
Sketchup 2024 requires Windows 11 or 10, Mac OS 14 (Sonoma), 13+ (Ventura), 12+ (Monterey), MacOS 11+ (Big Sur)
Sketchup 2023 requires Windows 11 or 10, Mac OS 13+ (Ventura), 12+ (Monterey), MacOS 11+ (Big Sur)
Sketchup 2022 requires Windows 11 or 10, MacOS 12+ (Monterey), 11+ (Big Sur), Mac OS 10.15+ (Catalina)
Mac and PC systems require the following minimum hardware:
- 500MB of available HDD or SSD space (SketchUp is unable to support case sensitive hard drives)
- 3D-class video card with 512MB of memory or higher and supports hardware acceleration (OpenGL version 3.0 or higher)
- 3-button, scroll-wheel mouse
SketchUp's New Graphics Engine
Sketchup 2024 introduces a powerful new graphics engine that comes with some additional requirements:

MacOS, you must use version 12.3.1 or above. We recommend at least 13
and above for optimal performance. The following MacOS GPUs are
unsupported:
- Intel HD Graphics 5000
- Intel HD Graphics 6000
- Intel Iris Graphics
- Intel Iris Graphics 6100
- Intel Iris Pro Graphics
For MacOS, the new renderer requires Metal 2 support.
The following Windows GPUs are unsupported:
Intel HD Graphics 4x00 series
- For Windows, the new renderer requires DirectX12, feature level 11.0 support.
