Authorising your SketchUp Pro Subscription

Posted by Geoff Powell on

Once your SketchUp Pro Subscription order has been processed you will receive the following email:

Click the ‘account management portal’ link on your email. If it fails to open in your internet browser, right click the link, copy the link, and paste into Internet Explorer.

You will be prompted to sign in with either a Trimble Connect account, or with a Google ID. If you don’t already have a Trimble Connect account, you can input your email address, and you will get asked to create one.

Once you have signed in, you will see the products available to you. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the title "Purchased via EDUCANDI": Clicking on Plan Settings shows you your subscription and it's expiry date.

If you click on My Products to see which plans are available and then click Download Application to see the components of the subscription:

In this instance we have a subscription to Sketchup Studio and listed are all the components included. Click to download the item you want to install

 Once downloaded, run the installation.

Once installed, you will see these products on your desktop or in you Start Menu. With a Mac you'll see a dmg file on the desktop and the instruction to drag the applications to the Applications folder.

Double-click SketchUp 2019 to open it for the first time:

Sign in with your Trimble ID credentials.

Select the template you wish to use:

This will launch SketchUp!

Once inside, you can check the status of your subscription by going to Help → Manage Licence:

If you wish to download the other apps available to you, simply head to https://www.sketchup.com/download/my-apps and log-in with your Trimble ID
